“Mayan Pants” (32x32)

Approximately 24 hours of embroidery completely covering a pair of Levi's (32x32) brushed red cotton pants in six colors of sashiko thread. Original designs, inspired by traditional Mayan art, mirror from one leg to the other and form a column of faces on the front of each leg and a looser composition of shapes and symbols on the rear. Hand drawn and sewn, with minor differences in the reflections to prove it.
