Patchwork Puffer Vest Indigo (XL)

Approximately 80 cotton patches of assorted shapes and sizes in shades of blue, painstakingly sewn by hand to the exterior of a like-new thrifted vest.

Some very special fabrics were utilized, including a number of Japanese imports and vintage remnants, natural indigo dyed by me, and assorted bandanas including an XL circular back hit.

All original function, including two pockets, was maintained and the vest’s original baffles were re-established over the patchwork in a high contrast white thread.

NOTE: this is not down, it is a polyester filling.
