A joyful motif in 9-color hand embroidery with sashiko thread on a previously loved pair of navy cotton shorts from "The Belted Cow" of Yarmouth, Maine.

Cartoonish white clouds on approximately the front and back of the knees offer start and end points for 8-color rainbows that wrap around the outer thigh on either side.

Light, breathable 100% cotton with a linen-like hand in excellent condition. The stitching adds even more strength.
